Wolves are as clever as we humans are, sometime even more then we humans are. Like when Wolves are protecting their territory or hunting, no two Wolves howl on the same note. But they harmonize to create the illusion that there are more number of wolves then actual.
They have a highly organised social structure enabling it to enjoy maximum cooperation when hunting, communicating and defending territory.
Other Important Facts:
- A wolf which have been kicked out of pack or had left to live on own terms, avoids contact with wolf packs and rarely howls. Is called lone wolf.
- Wolves are know to feed their young by carrying chewed-up food in their stomachs and throwing up, or “regurgitating”, the food for the pups when they come back to the den.
- Wolves live and hunt in packs. They are known to roam large distances, perhaps 20 km in a single day. Wolf packs in the far north often travel hundreds of km each year and this is due to them following migrating herds.
